We welcomed our sweet Carson in June 2024, and while his birth diagnosis of Down syndrome came as a surprise, it didn’t take long for us to realize he was exactly who we were meant to meet. Carson is our bright spot — full of sweetness, strength, and personality. Every smile, every tiny milestone, every silly moment reminds us how lucky we are to be his family. What once felt heavy is now just one small part of our amazing boy.

I didn’t connect with DSDN until Carson was about a year old, when I decided to attend my very first Rockin’ Mom Retreat. I walked in knowing no one and simply hoping for the best — and I walked out with community, confidence, and friendships that changed everything. Finding DSDN was one of the best choices I’ve made as a mom, and I’m so grateful for the joy and support they’ve added to our journey.

Carson lights up every room he enters. He makes people laugh daily, spreads joy without trying, and brings out the absolute best in everyone around him. I couldn’t be more proud to be his mom.
