My name is Giuliana, and I am a proud mom to Gianna, my beautiful 3‑year‑old daughter who was born with Down syndrome. Gianna is truly the best thing that has ever happened to our family, and she has changed the way I see love, joy, and what really matters in life. Caring for her means constant supervision, extra appointments, ongoing learning, and advocating for her in school and in our community. Attending this retreat would give me something I rarely have: time to breathe, learn, and come back home stronger for Gianna. The information and connections I gain there will help me better support her health, development, and future, and will also help me uplift other families in our community.
