Unlock Support for Families, One Fund at a Time!
For over a decade, DSDN has been there for families from the earliest moments of a Down syndrome diagnosis through the years that follow, offering resources and a lifeline of support. DSDN Day is about honoring that support system, strengthening our bonds, spreading awareness, and raising funds so that more families can find the connection they need. It’s an opportunity to reflect on our growth, the work behind the scenes, and the powerful stories of families who find strength, connection, and hope within this community.
In anticipation of DSDN Day, we’re working together to unlock different levels of support for families receiving a Down syndrome diagnosis. Each donation moves us closer to our goal, opening new opportunities to expand our impact.
💙 Phase 1: The Rockin’ Family Fund – Goal: $5,000
We are starting our DSDN Day campaign by fueling our Rockin’ Family Fund, which provides pregnancy gifts, welcome gifts, memorials, and care gift cards for families in need. $5,000 helps to close our budget deficit for this fund. Once we hit $5,000, we unlock the phase 2!
💙 Phase 2: Medical Outreach Fund – Goal: $5,000
Help us educate medical professionals on how to deliver a Down syndrome diagnosis in an unbiased, factual, and supportive way every time and that families can quickly find meaningful connections. Your donation helps to close our budget deficit in this fund, and will help cover the remaining costs to send our team to 5 medical conferences this year. When we reach $5,000, we move to the next phase!
💙 Phase 3: Parent Connection Fund – Goal: $5,000
Next up, help ensure that parents have access to life-changing opportunities for connection. This phase supports our main connection hub - the DSDN App, where all of our online support groups are hosted. We've built a vibrant community where families can connect, share experiences, get resources, and find comfort in understanding. Your donation helps DSDN continue to build out the capabilities of our mobile app to create deeper connections, improve access to critical information, and build a more inclusive, empowered community. Once we hit $5,000, we unlock the final phase!
💙 Phase 4: New Family Outreach Fund – Goal: $6,000
Our final goal is to make sure that EVERY new family can find support. This phase funds direct outreach and accessibility of our programs and resources to new and expectant parents, providing them with resources, connections, and a welcoming hand when they need it most.
