As we approach GivingTuesday and wrap up this impactful year, we invite you to join us in making a meaningful difference for families navigating a new Down syndrome diagnosis. Your gift fuels vital resources, compassionate support, and a welcoming community -- critical lifelines for parents.

From now until year-end, every donation will directly support our Rockin' Family Fund (RFF) and Medical Outreach Fund. Raising a child with Down syndrome comes with some of life’s sweetest joys and significant challenges, especially in the beginning. At DSDN, we walk alongside families and the medical professionals who serve them, ensuring no one feels alone. Whether it’s celebrating the arrival of a new baby or offering comfort during a hospital stay, your generosity transforms lives.

Here’s how your support directly impacts our Rockin' Family Fund:

  • Welcome Gifts
Every new or expectant parent joining our community receives a thoughtful welcome gift, along with helpful resources and an uplifting message of encouragement—providing the celebration and positivity often missing in their experience.
  • Memorials
When the unimaginable happens, we honor the life of a child with Down syndrome by sending a personalized gift, reminding families that they are—and always will be—a cherished part of our Rockin’ Family.
  • Care Packages
Hospital stays can be isolating and overwhelming. We send care packages and cards to families during NICU stays or surgeries, offering connection, comfort, and community.
  • Scholarships
For parents seeking opportunities to learn or recharge, scholarships make it possible to attend Down syndrome-related educational events, conferences, or classes.
  • Adoption Grants
Each year, we help offset adoption costs through a special grant for families who grow their Rockin' Family through adoption.

Additionally, our Medical Outreach Fund empowers parent advocates with free materials to enhance local support for Down syndrome families. It also enables DSDN to participate in national medical conferences, fostering direct conversations with medical professionals about compassionate and informed approaches to delivering a Down syndrome diagnosis. By providing these professionals with essential tools and resources, we ensure their discussions with families are up-do-date, accurate and supportive.

Help us meet our goal and sustain these impactful initiatives into the year ahead. Together, we can celebrate milestones, create connections, and offer support when it’s needed most.
