When Kahnu was born unexpectedly with an extra 21st chromosome, my world went upside down. I was uneducated and scared. I was afraid for my daughter. A new organization at the time, the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network, kept at me to join their support group until I did. As they’ve grown exponentially, so have I.
Friends were made. Opportunities abounded. I am forever grateful to DSDN for being an anchor in our journey as a family supporting Kahnu.
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network. It allows me to attend an annual retreat with other mothers on a similar journey.
DSDN is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit operated by two paid staff members and over 150 volunteers and funded by generous donations from supporters like you.
