Jude came into this world and surprised us with rockin' an extra chromosome. At the time of his birth, we were unsure of what having Down Syndrome would mean for him and us as a family.
We personally did not have a negative diagnosis story or have a negative experience with medical professionals. When we learned that in 2024, medical professionals, continue to encourage termination of babies diagnosed with Down Syndrome prenatally, our hearts break. Do these professionals not know the amazing things that these individuals are capable of?
DSDN (Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network) has been nothing short of amazing for us! We have been directed to resources, celebrated, learned of alternative treatments, and shown acceptance and love. We want to give back to this organization so that they many continue to do the same for many others and as well as educate medical professionals.
Donating through this website is simple, fast, and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
