I invite you to join me in making a positive impact by supporting the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network (DSDN). Your generous donation, no matter how small, will contribute significantly to my goal for DSDN.

Over the past 2+ years, our journey with Amané's Down syndrome diagnosis has been made enriching through the support of DSDN. Specifically, the Black Families Support subgroup has played a crucial role in providing valuable support and education. It provides a space for parents who are frustrated with the medical/school systems, and it is also an empowering space celebrating everybody's children's birthdays and milestones. While we don't solely focus on Amané's diagnosis, the support we've received has been invaluable.

By donating, you'll not only help DSDN achieve numerous wonderful initiatives (listed below), but you'll also assist me in attending the Rockin' Mom Event – a 2-day retreat for moms with children with Down syndrome, scheduled for September.

いつも天音と私たち家族のサポートをありがとうございます。今年の一つの目標として、天音の成長と共に、自分自身もたくさん学ぶことがあるという自覚から、ダウン症を持った子供を持つ家族をサポートしている団体ダウン症診断ネットワーク (DSDN) のサポートをもっとしたいと思うようになりました。団体のウェブサイトを色々調べているうちに、彼らがたくさん素晴らしい取り組みをしていること、そして、ダウン症を持った子を持つ親用にリトリートを開催していることも知りました。この団体はほとんどボランティアで運営されていて、皆んなからのクラウドファンディングで色々なリソースを提供することができるのです。また、このクラウドファンディングのおかげで、親もそれぞれのリトリートに行けるようになります。

ここ2年半ほど、DSDNのオンラインコミュニティーに助けられてきました。ダウン症だから大変、ではなく、お互いをサポートできる空間と、お互いの子供の成長を一緒に祝う場、どうやって子供達をサポートしていくかという教育の提供をしていただき、とても貴重な経験をされてもらっています。

この団体のために、私たちのような家族のために、少額でもいいので、寄付に参加していただければと思います。寄付することで、DSDN が数多くの素晴らしい取り組み (以下にリスト) を達成できるよう支援することになります。一緒に力を合わせて、ダウン症を持つ子を抱えた家族の生活に変化をもたらすことができるのです。 寛大なご厚情と、私たちと天音の成長を見守っていただきありがとうございます。
